Chair of the Council

The Chair of Stratford-on-Avon District Council is elected in May of each year at the Annual Meeting of the Council.

It is the Chair's responsibility as Civic Head is to represent the District Council at a large range of public, Civic and business events and also to act as Chair at each full meeting of the Council.

The current Chair is Councillor Victoria Alcock and the current Vice-Chair is Councillor Jenny Fradgley.

The Chair's charities for 2023-2024 are the Sea Cadets and Youth Collective and she will also be looking to help support local community groups across the District with the running costs of defibrillators.
