Street Cleaning

Stratford District Council in partnership with our contractors Verdant and Veolia, carry out the following regular routine cleaning work to ensure that the environmental standards are maintained across the district:

• Mechanical gutter sweeping five times per year (kerbed roads only)
• Pavement sweeping in shopping areas
• Regular road and pavement litter picking every four weeks
• Litter bin emptying
• Removal of roadside fly tipping once reported
• Treatment of pavement weeds on behalf of Warwickshire County Council (on request only)

• Removal of dead animals from the public highway once reported
