Sports Team awarded top marks on "Quest" for excellence

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Sports Development Team has been awarded top marks by independent assessors for quality of the service being provided.

The team achieved a "highly recommended" score following their 2 day assessment by independent assessors from the Quest scheme, a nationally recognised award in both public and private sectors.

"A good Sports Development Team is important to achieve the District Council's corporate priority of healthier communities," says Councillor Chris Williams, Portfolio Holder of Community Services.

"The report from Quest recognises the excellent work that the team has contributed to the delivery of the Council's corporate objectives. This has made real changes to people living in the District by promoting and increasing active recreation in all areas of the community.'
