Stratford-on-Avon District Council owns various recreational land across the district, including children's play areas, garden land and local nature reserves. The maintenance of our parks, green spaces and grass verges is overseen by the council and carried out by our grounds maintenance contractor, Continental Landscapes Limited.
The council's parks and green spaces play a vital role in making the district an attractive place to live, work and visit. They offer a great setting for recreation, relaxation or health and leisure activities, and provide a welcoming site to the many visitors our area attracts.
We are committed to maintaining their environmental standards and ensuring that they are accessible to all.
The Council has introduced new byelaws that regulate the use of Bancroft Gardens, The Tramway and the Recreation Ground.
