In partnership with our contractor, Continental Landscapes Limited, we maintain a number of public open spaces and highway verges across the district through a grounds maintenance contract.
We plant floral displays, shrubs and wildflower meadows in our public open spaces, including:
The council also carries out highway verge maintenance on behalf of Warwickshire County Council. This work is carried out within towns and villages. Visit our Grass Verge Cutting page to find out more.
Along with our colleagues at Warwickshire County Council, the council also maintains and protects our trees, carrying out routine health and safety checks and responding to residents' enquiries. Visit our Tree Management page to find out more.
There are a number of community groups across the district working independently of the council to help make the district not only beautiful for our residents, but also a great place for tourists to visit and for wildlife to thrive.
We maintain close links with these groups to ensure that the work being carried is complementary and suited to the wider aims and objectives of the council.
