Stratford-on-Avon District Council, in partnership with our contractor Biffa Waste Services Limited, carries out the following routine cleansing works to ensure that local environmental quality is maintained across the District:

  • mechanical sweeping (kerbed roads only)
  • pavement sweeping in the Main Rural Centres
  • litter picking of roads and pavements
  • litter bin and dog waste bin emptying and cleansing
  • removal of dead animals (road kill) from the public highway
  • removal of fly-tipped waste from the public highway
  • removal of graffiti and flyposting from the public highway
  • removal of clinical sharps from the public highway
