Senior Sports Person Award

The 2018 Senior Sports Person Award winner is Corinne Moss, Do3 Triathlon Club.

Corinne is an elite age-group (40-44) athlete in triathlon. She competes for the Do3 Training Squad, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Corinne is an incredibly consistent performer, invariably winning at regional and podiuming at national level. She achieved remarkable results at international level this season, culminating in a 10th placing at the World Championships (where she was the 3rd Team GB in her category). Her achievements have been recognised nationally - she was shortlisted for 220 Triathlon Female Age-Grouper of the Year Award in 2017. She also competed in three cycling time trials during the course of the 2017 season and was the first lady to finish in each one.

Award Criteria

Each nominee must:

  • have performed to a high standard in their sport have shown great sportsmanship, motivation and determination in their sport
  • have been aged 18 or over on the date of the most recent achievement included in the nomination
