Junior Team Award

The winner of the 2018 Everyone Active Junior Team Award is Stratford Athletic Club Junior Track & Field team.

2017 was the team's most successful season ever, winning all of the competitions and leagues in which they competed. The most prestigious prize was the Warwick Vase, awarded to the top club at the Warwickshire Track & Field Championships. Other victories included the Heart of England League Division 1, the Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire (CSW) Sportshall League and the CSW Young Athletes League.

  • English Schools Championships - Stratford AC athletes formed the backbone of the Warwickshire team
  • In the U13/15 national inter-counties match, eight athletes represented Warwickshire
  • Jack Sumners represented England twice, winning U18 110m hurdles silver at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
  • Oliver Cresswell and Lewis Byng represented England Schools in the Home Countries International
Award Criteria

Each nominated team (of two or more people) must:

  • have displayed an outstanding achievement in their sport have shown great sportsmanship, motivation and determination in their sport
  • include only members who were under the age of 18 on the date of the most recent achievement included in the nomination
