Coach or PE Teacher Award

The 2018 winner of the Pilates Place Coach or PE Teacher Award is David Knight, Do3.

David has developed Do3, a triathlon training and coaching squad in Stratford-upon-Avon. The squad has grown into a strong community of some 200 athletes who have achieved a significant number of key result in 2017. Dave has recently set up a new online training programme 'Do3 Commit' which offers personalised content and regular feedback: this enabled athletes who cannot afford to invest in one to one coaching to access Dave's expertise and the performance benefits which his structured training programmes offer. Dave generously shares his training expertise and experience with squad members who aspire to become coaches themselves via coaching workshops. Dave is viewed as a good role model and adheres to the very highest standards of coaching and training. He received national recognition when shortlisted for 220 Triathlon Coach of the Year Award 2017.
