Enplanner Online Toolkit
Enplanner Carbon Toolkit
Stratford-on-Avon District Council, alongside Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Planning Authorities has worked in partnership with Encraft and the Carbon Trust to produce a renewable energy toolkit. It is designed to assist developers in reducing their carbon footprint.
Enplanner is an online toolkit intended to provide assistance to both planning applicants and planning officers to meet local planning requirements for on-site renewable energy generation and lower carbon developments. It allows the user to assess what renewable technologies are available and suitable in their area in order to meet the required reduction in energy demand required by planning policy.
The toolkit continues to be updated by the Carbon Trust and Encraft and recent new features include:
- Energy efficiency calculators
- District heating
- Improved reporting and financial calculations
- Help text and user guide
- Revised pricing and licenses
Enplanner has been specifically commissioned to meet the requirements of Local Authority Planning Policy, however applicants may wish to provide evidence from another source that would satisfy the Local Authority requirements.
