At its meeting on 19 October 2020, the District Council approved a Site Allocations Plan Preferred Options for the purposes of public consultation.
This replaces the Proposed Submission Site Allocations Plan that was published in Autumn 2019 which is not being progressed.
The consultation period ran from Thursday 29 October until 5.00pm on Friday 18 December 2020. The Consultation is now closed.
The Council published an additional note in November 2020 setting out an amendment to the SA Main Report in relation to Table 6.4 in order to correct typographical errors and an inconsistency in presentation
The comments submitted on the Site Allocations Plan Preferred Options (October 2020) are available to view on our Consultation Viewer. The District Council will assess all the comments and consider what changes should be made to the Plan in producing the next version later this year. This will be the Proposed Submission Plan that will be subject to formal consultation before being submitted to the Secretary of State for examination by an independent planning inspector.
A Summary Leaflet provides an outline of the purpose and content of the Site Allocations Plan.
A series of settlement maps has been produced to assist interested parties to see all the proposed sites in a particular settlement
A set of videos will be available to view during the consultation period to explain the contents of various aspects of the Plan. These are being released on a rolling programme.
A series of live Question & Answer sessions have been arranged to discuss the contents of the Plan with District planning officers. Follow the link to join an event.
