Tysoe Neighbourhood Development Plan is to go through another round of consultation, after Stratford-on-Avon District Council received the Independent Examiner's report.

In a small number of instances, the District Council's decision differs from those recommended by the Examiner. These decisions have been taken following careful consideration of additional evidence submitted by the Parish Council and a request from the Parish Council for the District Council to re-consider the Examiner's modifications on these specific matters.

These relate to:

  • The retention of Herbert's Farm as a Reserve Housing site (Examiner recommended its removal, along with Roses Farm).
  • The retention of a revised Strategic Gap (Examiner recommended the removal of a Strategic Gap from the Proposals Map).

Therefore, in accordance with Regulation 17A of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) and Development Management Procedure (Amendment) Regulations 2016, the District Council must now carry out a further round of consultation on the proposed amendments to the recommended modifications for a minimum 6 week period, inviting the submission of representations from organisations and individuals on the changes.

A copy of the Submission Version of the Tysoe NDP, Examiner's report, schedule of proposed amendments and the Regulation 17A version Tysoe NDP including the Examiner's modifications plus the additional changes are available to view on the District Council's website - www.stratford.gov.uk/tysoenp

The consultation starts on Thursday 22 October 2020.

Representations on the recommendations, as set out in the schedule, may be made to the District Council by no later than 5pm on Friday 4 December 2020.
