Venture House supports local business growth

Successfully supporting small businesses and start-ups since 2016, Venture House in Stratford-upon-Avon is an innovative business centre.

The aim of the facility, which is based on Avenue Farm Industrial Estate, Birmingham Road, is to help entrepreneurs and start-up businesses take that next step towards achieving business success.

During the last year alone, more than 350 businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs have passed through its doors, seeking solutions to their workspace needs or to obtain advice and support in helping their business grow or get off the ground.

Venture House is Stratford-on-Avon District Council's business centre which opened after receiving £450,000 of funding from the Government's Local Growth Fund through the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP).

It works closely with the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Growth Hub whose business experts are regularly available for a confidential one-to-one session with any business or budding entrepreneur, and also plays host to the New Business Start-up Programme delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, as well as running its own series of business workshops (both of which are funded and free thanks to the European Regional Development Fund).

As well as the business advice and support, Venture House also offers a flexible combination of serviced offices and hotdesking facilities. Meeting space is also available for anyone to hire and benefits from great rates, free parking and easy access.

A Co-working Club, giving small business owners the chance to work alongside other like-minded business people, has also been created offering each other support and inspiration whilst still getting on with their day job.

As well as working hard to promote the various business activities in the area, Venture House also runs its own "Donut Time" - a free monthly networking event.
