On Thursday 29 June, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its fourth neighbourhood plan referendum.  

Voters in Bidford-on-Avon went to the polls to respond to the question:   "Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Bidford-on-Avon to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"  

The results were as follows:  

The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 968  (94.1%)

The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 61 (5.9%)

Total number of votes cast 1,029.  

Electorate 4,584 

The turnout was 22.4%.
