Due to the extreme adverse weather conditions that have been forecast overnight, the Town and District Councils, together with the market operator, LSD Promotions, have taken the decision to cancel the Victorian Christmas Market Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon tomorrow, Sunday 10 December 2017.

The decision was taken in order to safeguard the wellbeing and safety of our market traders and the many visitors.

We very much hope to welcome you to the Festival next year, but please don't forget that there are still two Christmas Markets in Bridge Street on 14 and 21 December which are open until 8pm.

This statement is issued at 8:45pm on Saturday 9 December on behalf of the Town and District Councils and LSD Promotions

Cancellation notification has been posted on the following social media sites and signage has been posted at all the District Council car parks in the town centre.
