Alcester Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result

On Thursday 6 May, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its seventieth neighbourhood plan referendum.

Voters in Alcester went to the polls to respond to the question:

 "Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Alcester to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

The results were as follows:

The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 1,548
The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 394

Total number of ballot papers issued 1,984 - 42 reject.

The turnout was 39.43%.
