Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Cabinet has today, Monday 11 February adopted Priors Marston Parish Plan.

The plan will now be taken into account in deciding planning applications in the parish and act as a blueprint for the future of the parish defined by the community itself.

Parish Plans provide communities with a framework for the present and plan for the future.

Cllr Daren Pemberton, Planning and Building Services Portfolio says: "The Priors Marston Parish Plan is a good example of how a community can prepare a Plan with guidance and assistance from the Local Planning Authority, which will provide both a good source of local information and sound basis.

"It is considered that the projects set out the Action Plan are consistent and in general conformity with the Policy framework established by the Core Strategy and the National Planning Policy Framework."
