Today, Wednesday 20 May Stratford-on-Avon District Council holds its Annual Meeting where Councillor Simon Jackson will hand over the chain of office to Councillor Mike Gittus.
During his term of office Councillor Simon Jackson (Burton Dassett) has raised approximately £8,250 for his Chairman's charities, Riding for the Disabled (Compton Verney Branch) and the Beauchamp Chapel Restoration Campaign.
Councillor Mike Gittus (Kinwarton) has chosen Alcester Dementia Café and Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital £1M Appeal as his Chairman's charities for the year.
