The winners of Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Building Excellence Awards are as follows:

  • Small Domestic Extension – Yew Tree House, Halford
  • Large Domestic Extension – 2 Spernal Lane, Spernal
  • Major Domestic Work – West Ridge, Ilmington
  • Loft Conversion – Woodlands, Kitebrook
  • New Build Single Dwelling – Famington Farm, Bidford-on-Avon
  • New Domestic Development – Leys Farm, Barton-on-the-Heath
  • Public Building – Quinton Primary School, Lower Quinton
  • Minor Commercial Project – Fourteas, Stratford
  • Major Commercial Work – Stratford ArtsHouse
  • Sustainable Dwelling – Colemans Hill Farm, Mickleton

The Award Ceremony took place on Friday 17 April and builders, architects and owners of developments were drawn from a field of more than 2,000 completed projects within the last 2 years from all across Stratford-on-Avon District. 

The awards not only highlight excellence in build quality and workmanship, but also recognise team working, sustainable design and technical innovation.

The judging The Panel comprised:

  • Mike Swatton - Business Development Director for Premier Guarantee
  • Mick Price - a Chartered Architectural Technologist and a former Senior Building Control Surveyor
  • Clive Powles - a Property Developer and Director of CMP
