Stratford-on-Avon District Council is preparing for another Audit Commission inspection next month. Last year the Audit Commission judged the council to be weak, a result which required the council to be inspected every year for a progress check.

A press briefing will take place on Monday 3 October to explain the council's actions since last year, and what we have been doing to improve performance in readiness for next month's progress check.

The briefing will be with the leader of the council, Cllr Les Topham, the CPA portfolio holder, Cllr Trevor Russel, chief executive Paul Lankester, and CPA programme manager Karin Stanley.

Press briefing

Time:           12.30pm Monday 3 October
Place:           Executive meeting room, Elizabeth House, Stratford-upon-Avon
Event:          Update on progress to improve performance following CPA inspection
