World Class Stratford Vision Public Consultation Initiated

The Stratford On Avon District Council will begin public consultation regarding the Vision for the World Class Stratford initiative beginning Monday, 14 November. 

World Class Stratford is the initiative designed to improve the community's appearance and infrastructure, giving Stratford-upon-Avon increased appeal to both residents and visitors alike. 

An initial "Vision" of World Class Stratford has been formed through meetings this year of residents, business leaders and organisations.

A £5M grant from Advantage West Midlands was agreed in principle October 20 that will fund the first phase of the programme, primarily needed improvements and maintenance to the Waterfront area.

A display will be set up at the following locations and District Council representatives will be on hand to distribute questionnaires seeking public feedback (returnable via freepost) and will be available to explain, gather views and discuss the Vision for the World Class Stratford initiative at the times indicated:

14 November - Stratford On Avon District Council Offices, Elizabeth House (8:45AM -- 5:00PM)
15 November -- Marks & Spencer, Bridge Street (11:00PM - 2:00PM)
16 November - Council for Voluntary Service, Town Square next to Somerfield's Supermarket (10:30AM - 2:30PM)
17 November - Stratford Leisure and Visitor Centre, Bridgeway (4:00PM - 6:00PM)
18 November - Stratford Library, Henley Street (12:00PM - 2:30PM)
19 November - Morrison's Supermarket, Alcester Road (10:00AM - 2:00PM)
21 November - Tesco Supermarket, Birmingham Road (5:00PM - 7:00PM)
22 November - The Civic Hall, (11:00AM - 1:00PM)
23 November - Ken Kennett Centre, 100 Justins Avenue (10:00AM - 4:00PM)
24 November - Progress House (Business Link), Avenue Farm, Birmingham Road (10:00AM - 2:00PM)
