Conservatives retain control of Stratford-on-Avon District Council following yesterday's local elections, with no change to their majority of seven seats.  

Nineteen of the council's 53 seats were up for election, but none were lost by any parties with the final results giving the Conservatives a total of 30 seats, the Liberal Democrats 20 seats, and the Independents three seats.  

The turnout was 41.5%.
