Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Public Protection Team will be hosting free events around the District to help local people and businesses prepare for: 

  • Smoking ban - understanding what help is available for becoming SmokeFree
  • Food Safety - Who will help with Food Safety Management now that the free Safer Food Better Business training has finished?
  • Health and Safety - Are we still bothered by asbestos, and why do I need to know about dermatitis in the catering industry? 
  • Licensing - The Licensing Policy is being reviewed, what was wrong with it in the first place?
  • Gambling Act - How does the Gambling Act affect Amusement with Prizes machines?   

The events are scheduled to be run from 10am to 3.45pm at the following venues:  

  • Wednesday 2 May - Townsend Hall, Sheep Street, Shipston-on-Stour
  • Tuesday 8 May - Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Friday 18 May - The Grange Hall, Southam
  • Wednesday 23 May -  Studley Village Hall, Studley
  • Friday 25 May - Conservative Club, Wellesbourne
