WAG, the Wellesbourne Action Group, goes from strength to strength with a further meeting planned for Monday 14 August at 7pm at the Conservative Club in Wellesbourne.

Formed following the successful W. I. S. C. up Wellesbourne community day in May to give residents a voice in local affairs, WAG has already attracted £6,500 funding to refurbish the Youth Centre.

WAG is working in partnership with a number of agencies including the Police, Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Warwickshire County Council and Connexions as part of the Safer Neighbourhoods initiative.

Although WAG was set up following concerns about anti-social behaviour, the group is keen to take a broader view.  Anyone living in Wellesbourne who has ideas for making the village an even nicer place to live will be more than welcome on Monday.
