Businesses in south Warwickshire are being invited to a forum next week to find out what support is available to them. The South Warwickshire Business Partnership, supported by Stratford-on-Avon District Council, is holding the annual event at Gaydon's Heritage Motor Centre on 16 February from 2.30pm.

"We anticipate that business people from across South Warwickshire will find this a worthwhile occasion," said Cllr Chris Williams, the District Council's Portfolio Holder for Community Services.

"I am delighted that Matthew Taylor, Managing Director of Land Rover, has agreed to join us to explain how operations at Gaydon fit into the economic future of South Warwickshire.

"The Business Partnership believes there are important gains to be made from good communication between the economic sectors and those business support organisations represented by the South Warwickshire Economic Development Team.

"It is key to ensuring that initiatives such as 'World-Class Stratford' bring real benefits to all of us who work within the district."

The Business Forum provides delegates with the opportunity for discussion with senior councillors and officers of the District Council, to comment on future spending plans and to get feedback from issues raised at last year's Forum.

Anyone who is interested in taking part in the forum should contact Sue Rapp on 01789 721969, email: sue@savoir-faire.co.uk.

The media are also invited to attend the event. If you require any special facilities please contact Sue Rapp as above.
