An opportunity has arisen for a professional and efficient administrator to join the busy, hardworking team at Stratford-on-Avon District Council. Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader you will play a pivotal role assisting in the provision of administration support to all service areas with a particular focus on supporting Accountancy and Human Resources.
The successful candidate will be confident and focussed, able to respond positively to enquiries from the public while completing other duties accurately and with complete integrity. The responsibilities of the post include: administering the recruitment of new staff, sickness and establishment monitoring, processing and recording payments, supporting payroll administration, producing written documents and facilitating central admin functions.
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience in office administration and have proven ability to work as part of a team, computer literacy and good communication skills are also necessary. Working for a variety of different service areas, you must be able to prioritise personal workloads and be able to influence and build relationships with people at all levels.
