UK Shared Prosperity fund (2022-2025)
Launched by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities in April 2022, the UKSPF grant scheme aimed to support a wide range of interventions to build pride in place and improve life chances by March 2025. A year later, in 2023, DEFRA launched the REPF grant scheme with the aim to help improve productivity and strengthen the rural economy and rural communities.
Below is the breakdown of original funding allocations to SDC from Government and overall spend:

Community Grant Scheme
The Community Grant Scheme 2025 was launched in the 80th anniversary year of VE and VJ Day to allow not-for-profit groups to apply for a share of £350,000 to support their valuable community assets in memory of the generation who sacrificed so much during the Second World War and to celebrate the power of community in the 21st Century.
