Warwickshire County Council provides a Park and Ride Scheme, situated conveniently on the outskirts of the Town.
Stratford-on-Avon District Council provides 8 car parks (over 2,800 parking spaces) within Stratford-upon-Avon town centre and a further 800 spaces in the surrounding towns.
As well as spaces for cars there are spaces for motorcycles and bicycles. There is also a coach/lorry park within Stratford-upon-Avon. In addition we also run a shopmobility scheme for mobility impaired customers.
All the car parks are conveniently situated (within 10 minutes walk) for all amenities and shopping. There are signs on all approach roads and throughout the town to guide you to the car parks. Charges apply in ALL District Council Town Centre Car Parks. See parking charges
Two car parks within Stratford-upon-Avon, Bridgefoot multi-storey and the adjacent Unicorn Meadow are barrier controlled 'Pay on Foot', which means you take a ticket on entering the car park, retain it, and pay the required fee before collecting your car. The other Stratford-upon-Avon car parks are pay & display, which means you have to buy a ticket on arrival. The charges apply 24 hours daily, 7 days a week.
We also offer permits to:
- residents over the age 65 and
- regular car park users.
Please view season tickets or Over 65's Parking Pass for more information.
The District Council also provides car parks in the surrounding towns. They are situated in Shipston on Stour, Southam, Alcester, Bidford, Henley in Arden and Studley. All are free with the exception of Telegraph Street car park in Shipston on Stour.
Stratford District Council have added Parent and Child parking places in the barrier controlled Bridgefoot Multi Storey Car Park. These are situated on Level 2 of the car park, just beyond the Shopmobility bays.
