Arts in Warwickshire Education (Warwickshire County Council)

Artists in Warwickshire Education(AWE) is a Warwickshire County Council service which provides consultation, advice, organisation and support for artists' residencies in education.

We:
· work in close collaboration with artists, teachers, LEA services and other agencies to develop arts projects within a curriculum context
· identify artists from a wide range of art forms and cultural traditions who are skilled at working with teachers and students and have achieved excellence in their practice
· support and evaluates programmes of work with artists
· work in key partnership with the Arts Zone
· promote the arts as a means to enhance learning, raise standards of achievement and provide cultural and spiritual enrichment.
