Planning Applicants and Contributors - How we use your information and personal data

  1. As part of the planning process your application or comments on an application will be published on the Internet.
  2. Your information will not be used for any other purpose unless required by law, to prevent or detect crime or to protect public funds.
  3. You will not be asked for any unnecessary information and in order to protect personal data we will not publish individual signatures, telephone number's, or e-mail addresses on the Internet.
  4. When submitting a planning application via the planning portal two versions are sent to us as an authority. One of which will contain your telephone number and email address the other without. We will only publish the version we receive which does not contain your email address and telephone number.
  5. We will rectify inaccurate information within 24 hours of being advised during normal business hours. Please contact the Customer Support Services Team on 01789 260830 or email planning.applications@stratford-dc.gov.uk with your request.
  6. We will not keep your information on the Internet any longer than is required by legislation.
  7. If you do not want your contributions/comments to appear on the Council's website, or request that your name and address be removed they will be treated as anonymous. All anonymous contributions/comments will be disregarded in the determination of a planning application.
  8. We will process your personal data in accordance with the rights of data subjects under the Data Protection Act.
  9. You can access the personal data that Stratford On Avon District Council holds about you by contacting the Monitoring Officer on 01789 260400 or monitoring.officer@stratford-dc.gov.uk
  10. We will take all reasonable precautions to protect personal data from accidental or deliberate loss or unauthorised disclosure.
