How do I check progress on a planning application?

Progress can be checked by telephoning the case officer on the telephone number given on the letter confirming validity of the application, or on 01789 260303.

The first 4 to 5 weeks of the application process are used to allow time for the public and consultees to comment on the application and for the case officer to carry out investigations. Therefore there will normally be little to report until that initial time period has passed.
