Can I make changes or amendments to an approved plan?

It may be possible for you to make minor changes during the application process or after your application is approved. You will normally need to submit 3 sets of revised plans, together with a letter detailing the changes, to the Development Control section. Significant amendments may need to be the subject of further local notifications and consultations. This process takes time. You should therefore expect that it may take at least 5 to 6 weeks for your amendment to be approved.

More substantial changes will require the submission of a new planning application. written approval from the development Control team. Substantial changes would require a further planning application. Our leaflet, Amending Your Plans, explains the Council's policy on amending your application.

For further information please see the 'Amending Your Plans' page of this website.
