The District Council does not have register of land available for housebuilding. Estate agents advertise land for sale. You might also approach the owner(s) of any land you are interested in. The Council produces an annual report of sites with planning permission for residential development and larger sites are allocated in Stratford on Avon District Local Plan Review (Deposit Draft). The plan has been through a public inquiry and the Inspector's report was published in May 2005. It recommends changes to the plan.
The Development Sites report, the draft Local Plan and the Inspector's report can be seen on the Local Plans page, at District Council offices and in many libraries.
The Development Control section can give advice regarding specific sites (tel. 01789 260303).
