This study was commissioned by all the local authorities in the sub-region and was produced by DTZ. The final report was published in June 2007. The purpose of the study is to review the supply of and demand for employment land and premises across the sub-region. It provides a basis for assessing the amount of employment land needed within each constituent area that local authorities should identify in their individual development plans. The findings of the study in relation to Stratford-on-Avon District will be used in conjunction with the requirement for employment land specified in the West Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy Phase Two Revision. Together, they will form the foundation for allocating land for employment development in our Local Development Framework. The study has been undertaken in line with the national guidance on preparing Employment Land Reviews.
