Householder Applications - We want your opinions?
We would welcome your comments/suggestions on how we can reduce the number of invalid planning applications we receive. Plus details of a new Householder Team, dealing with applications to alter and extend a residential property.

Housing Moratorium Review
The District Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee met on 27 January 2010 to review the Housing Moratorium. The recommendation from the committee to the next Cabinet meeting on 8 March 2010 is to continue to apply the Housing Moratorium.

Long Marston Depot application
A hybrid application (part full, part outline permission) for mixed use development of the site at Long Marston Storage Depot, Campden Road, Lower Quinton. planning application 09/00835/FUL.

On 7 December 2009 the Council’s Planning Committee resolved to grant planning permission for this development. This is subject to a Section 106 Agreement (S106) and subject to the application not being called in by the Secretary of State.

The Secretary of State decided not to “call in” the application so the Council is now free to determine it. (Subject to the S106 and any other outstanding matters being resolved).
