Stratford-on-Avon District Councillor Gillian Roache's year of chairman ended at the end of May but 3 local charities are set to benefit from her year in office.
Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Riding for the Disabled Association and The Alzheimer's Society have all benefitted from the £10,000 raised and in addition the Stratford Sea Cadets will benefit from new equipment
Councillor Gillian Roache says: "I've have had a tremendous year in office and have thoroughly enjoyed it and I would like to thank all those who have supported my fund-raising efforts during my year as Chairman of Stratford District Council - local businesses, staff, councillors, friends and residents have all been very supportive of my efforts to raise money for local charities. It has been a lot of work from many quarters but the result is amazing!"
