Are you ready? Roadshow rolls on - 12 July

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's refuse and recycling service is changing in August 2008 and District Council officers are out and about the District promoting the changes. The 'Are you ready?'  Roadshow this weekend can be found at both Bishops Itchington and Southam this Saturday 12 July.  

Saturday 12 July 
     
12noon - 4pm 
Bishops Itchington Carnival, Butchers Arms Car park  

And    
             
2pm - 4pm  
Southam Fun in the Sun event on the Recreation Ground  

District Council officers will be giving out information and answering any questions residents may have about the new service.   

The new service is a wheeled bin collection service which will include cardboard, plastic bottles and a weekly collection of kitchen waste.  

The new service aims to: 

• Decrease the District's waste 
• Increase recycling
• Provide better value for money.
