Are you ready? Roadshow rolls on 5 - 6 July

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's refuse and recycling service is changing in August 2008 and District Council officers are out and about the District promoting the changes.

The 'Are you ready?'  Roadshow this weekend can be found at Shipston Rural Faire on Saturday 5 July and at Long Marston Car Boot Sale on Sunday 6 July.  

Saturday 5 July      
1.30pm - 4pm   Rural Faire, Norgren Social Club, Shipston-on-Stour                            
Sunday 6 July          

7.30am - 11am        Long Marston Car Boot Sale    

District Council officers will be giving out information and answering any questions residents may have about the new service.    The new service is a wheeled bin collection service which will include cardboard, plastic bottles and a weekly collection of kitchen waste.  

The new service aims to: 

• Decrease the District's waste 
• Increase recycling 
• Provide better value for money.
