Corporate Communications Team

Helping you quench your thirst for knowledge

Stratford-on-Avon District Council prides itself in its transparency; its Corporate Communications team form a vital role in providing this information.

2007 saw an unusual jump for a District Council from being considered by the Governmental watch-dog, the Audit Commission, as "Weak" to "Good" - a phenomenal effort in the Council's aspirations for becoming an "Excellent" Authority.

An important part of becoming a "Good" Council is good public perception, something the Corporate Communications Team is working hard to maintain.

Corporate Communications deal with all press enquiries, and are the first point of contact for journalists.

Beverley Hemming (MCIPR)
Has worked as Corporate Communications Manager since June 2006 and worked in Public Relations in Stratford-on-Avon District Council for 13 years.
