The District Council's rural cinema scheme aims to provide a high quality cinematic experience to people living in areas of rural isolation, and increase the use, value and sustainability of community venues throughout the district.
Movies
January's film titles will be 'Up' and 'Public Enemies', with 'Creation' and 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' showing in February.
The following have been screened over recent months:
- March: 'Sherlock Holmes'
- February: 'Creation' & 'Cloudy with a chance of meatballs'
- January: 'Up' & 'Public Enemies'
- December: 'Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' & 'Joyeux Noel'
- November: 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' & 'Doubt'
- October: 'Coraline' & 'The Boat That Rocked'
- September: 'Monsters Vs Aliens' & 'Star Trek'
- August: 'Revolutionary Road' starring Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet
- July: 'The Reader' starring Kate Winslet
