As part of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council's commitment to supporting local talented athletes and sports people, the District Council and Sports Leisure Management (SLM) are offering free use of the four leisure centres in the district to anyone that represents England, N. Ireland, Scotland or Wales or Great Britain in a sport recognised by Sport England. These centres are -
- Stratford Visitor & Leisure Centre,
- Studley Leisure Centre,
- Southam Leisure Centre
- Shipston Leisure Centre.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
To qualify you must be:
- Under 21 years old
- Live in the Stratford-on-Avon District
- Represent your country at a national level
- Be part of a National Governing Body programme supported by Sport England
A Passport to Excellence is valid for one calendar year (January to December) and we allocate up to 20 passes per year.
Aims of the scheme:
The Excellence scheme is about:
- Developing talent today for supportind success tomorrow
- Giving talented performers the chance to progress to the best of their ability, and achieve excellence.
