National Play Day

Play day is the annual celebration of childrens right to play. Play day is a national campaign - now in its 23rd year - where thousands of children and young people get out and play in their local area.

Each year Playday has a campaign theme, last years was Make Time!

The campaign called for everyone to make time for play from Parents, carers, teachers to policy makers and planners - everyone can make time to support childrens right to play.

This Years Play Day is Wednesday 4th August 2010

Stratford-on-Avon District Council is celebrating play day in style this year. There will be two events, one in Southam for the younger children and the other at the Recreation ground in Stratford upon Avon.
