LETS GO was set up by adults with learning disabilities and their Parents / Carers in partnership with ILEAP and Stratford-on-Avon District Council. ILEAP provides Support Friends who assist members so that they can participate in their chosen leisure pursuits alongside their non-disabled peers. Support Friends provide transport and accompany members to their activities to ensure their safety and enjoyment. Lets Go is also developing a group programme that provides adult recreation sessions, drama clubs, social evenings and smaller group activities like bowls, swimming and meals out. As part of its SENSiS programme of activities ILEAP also works with adults with learning disabilities who still live at home with a parent / carer.
