We aim to develop and support leisure opportunities across the district that are high quality and responsive to the needs of your local area.
What you can expect from us:
Provision of at least one summer activity scheme for young people within a 5-mile radius of your home during the summer holidays.
Stratford-on-Avon District Council provide a range of activities for children from 5 to 16 years using a large number of venues including small rural villages and schools as well as larger community facilities.
The District Council run week long Hi-5 holiday day camps for primary age children focussing on delivering sport, art and play in a fun safe environment. During various holidays we also run Multi-Sport and Swim Days. These days take place at our four leisure centres, Southam, Studley, Shipston and Stratford and are aimed at children aged 8 to 16 years old.
There are also many free activities delivered throughout the year for young people to take part in. These include TUFFs (Turn up for free sports). Stratford District Councils very own brand of free sport for children to take part in and have a go. Mobile Climbing Wall, Football Coaching
