Welcome to the Leisure and Culture section of our website - whether you are a resident or a visitor to the Stratford area, we have a number of services to help you make the most of your leisure time..

• Leisure Centres - Stratford, Studley, Southam and Shipston. These four leisure centres are owned by the Authority and are managed by a professional management company called Everyone Active.

• Sports Development - The Sports Development Team aims to offer people both the opportunities to participate in sport and to create the structures to allow them to improve their performance.

• Play Areas - Generally all public play areas in Stratford-upon-Avon are owned by the District Council as well as Abbeyfields, Studley and Leam Road, Lighthorne Heath while all other play areas are the responsibility of the individual Parish Councils.

• Sports Club Database - Here you will find details of clubs and organisations that have registered with us, including contact details and facilities available

• Activities for older adults - By joining us, it's a way for you to enjoy your community or explore the countryside surrounding your home, try something new, get out and about, be sociable and meet new people, and most importantly, have fun!

• Skate Park - Exciting new equipment was added in September 2011, Check out the plans. It is found behind the Leisure Centre in Stratford upon-Avon. The skatepark is undergoing redevelopment after the large wooden structure reached the end of its safe life. There are new items being introduced to make it one of the premier sites in the district.

• Paddling Pool - The Paddling Pool is now closed for the winter period. The Paddling Pool is situated in Stratford-upon-Avons destination Play Area, off Swans Nest Lane. Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 7LS
