The Stratford-on-Avon District has a lot to offer in the way of leisure and sport facilities as well as a wealth of culture and tourist attractions.
The Council works hard to provide sport and leisure support for lots of organisations, children and older people. The pages below explain how we achieve this.
Effective and regular communication with the sports clubs in the district is a key role for the District Council Leisure Services team. The 'In2 Sport' newsletter helps to raise the profile of sport in the local area and highlight new funding streams, initiatives and changes in legislation that affect sport and recreational organisations.
Although tourism for the district is primarily dealt with by South Warwickshire Tourism, the pages below will give you an idea of what the District has to offer and also listings of events that are happening.
