| Food Hygiene Inspection Ratings Award Levels |
There are various schemes throughout the country and it is sometimes difficult to match scores and awards. However, in order to help, the Council is participating with www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk where other councils also display their findings. In order to allow a direct comparison with these where there are 6 levels of award, the following has been used as a guide- The gold level is equivalent to 5 Star, Silver 4 Star and so on. However the 0 and 1 star premises are combined together in the poor level.
