Carers

If you are looking after someone on a regular unpaid basis, you are a carer. You may be a parent, a husband or wife, a partner, a son or daughter, a brother or sister, a friend or a neighbour.

Being a carer brings its own rewards, but it can also be very hard work, both physically and emotionally.

Warwickshire County Council provides advice and support for adult carers who care for the elderly, children with special needs and adults with physical or learning disabilities. Carers may also be entitled to receive additional help and support for their own needs.
