Standards & Ethics

The Council has a Standards and Ethics Committee. Its responsibilities include:

The overseeing of Councillor training on The Code of Conduct, Planning and Licensing
Overseeing Ombudsman Complaints
Monitoring the Whistleblowing Procedure
Promotion of Ethical Governance
Hearing Freedom of Information Appeals and
The assessment and determination of local code of conduct complaints.
