November 2009 - Stratford Alveston District and Town Wards

A by-election took place in Stratford Alveston District Ward and Stratford upon Avon Alveston Town Ward the vacant seats on Thursday 27 November 2009.

The result of the District Council election was:-

Hugh Philip CHATWIN	58 Votes
Anthony James CRONIN	888 Votes
Lynda Margaret ORGAN	834 Votes
David TALBOT	111 Votes

Anthony James CRONIN is elected to the District Council.

The turnout was 31.2%

The result of the Town Council election was:-

Ian Frank FRADGLEY	1028 Votes
Drene Joan HOLMES	694 Votes
David TALBOT	126 Votes

Ian Frank FRADGLEY is elected to the Town Council.

The turnout was 30.8%
